How to be a Language-rich Parent for your 3- to 7-year-old

In this 5-hour online class, learn about 9 core oral language skills your child needs to know in the preschool and pre-primary ages.

There is so much speech and language development information targeted at the young ones. But how about our preschoolers and kindergarteners? How can parents continue to support their oral language development now that they are speaking in running sentences?

With 12+ years as a pediatric speech-language-feeding therapist, I now have a very clear roadmap on what children with language delays need to learn so that they have a SOLID oral language foundation in preparation for primary school years and beyond. Now that my daughter is 4 years old, I find myself giving her "language therapy" every day! And this is when I realised, what I know about language development is NOT just for children with language delays. Parents with typically-developing children will benefit from knowing what to focus on in these pre-primary years. Our role is no longer to just build their vocabulary, we have SO MUCH more to do!

And as for parents of children with language delays, more often than not, your child will require more direct (visual) teaching of the higher order language skills. This is my area of expertise, my bread and butter! In this webinar, I will show you how to break down each language skill and teach them using visual supports. By the end of this webinar, I hope that I have trained you to be a skilled therapist assistant :)

The following are covered in 10 modules,

a total of 5 hours of video content.
